 The
unusual versatility and capacity of the HOSSFELD
UNIVERSAL® Bender makes It the ideal machine for
school shop instruction and use. This one tool with the
standard dies will produce a wide variety of bends on
various materials such as the following examples: Sharp,
square bends on round, square or flat stock; radius bends to
practically any size and on practically any material such as
bar or flat stock, pipe or tubing, angle iron and hand rail
capping; Scrolls, Lambs Tongues and Volutes for ornamental
work.
The variety of things that can he produced on this machine
is limited only by the imagination of the student.
A few of the common things are eye bolts, 'U' bolts,
rings, chain links, hinges, angle iron frames for tables
(circular or free form), tubular furniture, ornamental
pieces, etc., etc. With a minimum of practice your
students can turn out professional looking work. At the same
time they will be learning the fundamentals of metal
forming, its advantages and limitations through actual
experience. The only tool that offers the capacity and
variety of bending operations in
